Requirements: 1-2 years experience in Oracle database administration or database/system support.Experience working within mission-critical, defence, aerospace or similarly regulated environments.Knowledge of Oracle database administration.Experience supporting Linux environments, particularly RHEL and/or Solaris.Windows Server administration experience (2012/2022) is beneficial.Active SC Clearance is essential.British nationality is essential. Responsibilities: Perform Oracle database maintenance and update activities.Implement database changes through established change management processes.Release new databases into live environments.Maintain database change control documentation.Carry out routine backup, archiving and housekeeping activities.Diagnose and resolve database and system failures.Support software, system and database configuration management. We are hiring a Database Manager for a mission-critical programme based onsite in Chippenham on a 6-month contract at £41.71 per hour (Umbrella).
