Salary: £70,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements: Active SC Clearance that has been used on a live project within the last 12 months.Strong commercial experience with Java development.Experience using the Spring Framework or equivalent technologies.Solid understanding of software design patterns and their practical application.Excellent knowledge of modern software development practices and delivery processes.Experience with containerisation technologies including Docker and/or Kubernetes.Experience implementing and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.Passion for producing high-quality, maintainable code through TDD and engineering best practices.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within remote agile teams. Responsibilities: Develop, enhance and maintain Java-based applications and services.Design robust software solutions using established design patterns and engineering best practices.Build and support containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD), code quality and continuous improvement.Collaborate with developers, architects, testers and stakeholders in agile delivery teams.Participate in technical discussions, code reviews and architecture decisions.Support the successful delivery of secure digital transformation programmes.
