Salary: £60,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements: Previous experience working as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.Strong experience with Python or PySpark.Experience with cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or Snowflake.Knowledge of SQL and data transformation techniques.Experience building and maintaining data pipelines.Previous experience working within the construction industry.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.Experience working within Agile environments and using Git repositories is desirable. Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain modern data platform solutions.Build, optimise and manage data ingestion pipelines.Develop data transformation and modelling solutions using Python, PySpark and SQL.Support the implementation of data lakes, data warehouses and modern analytics architectures.Ensure high standards of data quality, security and performance.Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.Produce technical documentation, troubleshooting guides and best practice documentation.Work within Agile methodologies and use Git-based version control.Continuously improve existing platforms and stay up to date with emerging technologies.
