Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year
Requirements: Extensive embedded software development experience using C/C++.Experience leading software engineering teams.A strong understanding of embedded Linux and RTOS environments.Knowledge of software architecture and complex embedded systems.Experience with hardware/software integration.Exposure to MATLAB/Simulink or other model-based development environments.Experience implementing CI/CD, automated testing or DevOps practices.A track record of driving engineering or business transformation. Responsibilities: Lead and develop a high-performing embedded software engineering team.Define our software strategy, architecture and technical direction.Deliver both new product development and sustaining engineering activities.Introduce modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automation and model-based development.Improve collaboration between software, hardware and systems engineering.Drive platform reuse and scalable software architecture.Define engineering KPIs and improve delivery performance.Lead technical reviews and engineering governance.Support organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
