We are a small IT function based in Leicester, working in a hybrid model with three days a week in the office and the rest remote. We are moving from a private cloud, Windows Server environment to a modern Azure-first setup, and this role gives you full ownership of the migration from pre-planning through delivery. This is a senior, hands-on technical leadership position where you will sit alongside the Head of IT Services, owning infrastructure, cloud, networking, security technologies, and integration architecture while service management and end-user computing sit in a separate peer function. We offer a challenging, high-ownership role with standard Monday to Friday hours and occasional out-of-hours work for major incidents or deployments. A Cloud Engineer hire is planned for 2027 to expand the platform engineering capability.
