Salary: £45,000 - 65,000 per year
Requirements: Strong commercial experience developing software in C++ within Linux environmentsKnowledge and practical use of C# for tooling, interfaces, or supporting applicationsExperience developing real-time data processing systemsStrong understanding of multi-threaded and concurrent programming conceptsExperience working with low-level I/O, DMA, PCIe cards, or driver-level interfacesExperience developing sequencing frameworks, workflow engines, or state-machine-based execution systemsProven track record integrating and debugging complex software and hardware systemsStrong understanding of software engineering best practices, memory management, and performance optimisationExperience using version control systems such as Git and familiarity with CI/CD practicesExperience working with SFPDP technologyKnowledge of FPGA-based data acquisition systems and synchronisation techniquesExperience with Hardware-in-the-Loop environments, automated test rigs, or system test frameworksExposure to Real-Time Operating Systems or real-time Linux extensionsExperience using the LabVIEW suite of tools Responsibilities: Design and develop real-time test and data capture software using C++ on LinuxIntegrate high-speed SFPDP cards into multi-channel data processing environmentsArchitect, develop, and maintain scalable multi-threaded applicationsImplement data sequencing, synchronisation, capture, and replay functionalityCollaborate with hardware teams to ensure accurate timing and seamless hardware/software integrationLead and support integration, verification, and testing activities at both component and system levelPerform performance analysis, debugging, troubleshooting, and optimisation of real-time systemsProduce technical documentation including software architecture, interface definitions, and test procedures Technologies: ArchitectC#CI/CDFPGAGitHardwareSupportLinuxPCIeC++ More:
