Salary: £65,000 - 65,000 per year
Requirements: We require a masters degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or another related discipline.We require demonstrable industry project experience in software engineering, including successful delivery of hardware-related instrumentation products to market.We require broad technical competence in programming, including C#, MVVM, embedded C++, Python, and TypeScript.We require experience developing application software for both Windows and Linux.Experience with image processing, Java, or machine learning would be desirable.You must be eligible to live and work in the UK, as no company sponsorship is available for work visas. Responsibilities: We will have you design and develop data collection and analysis software.We will have you contribute to instrument control software.We will have you debug embedded software.We will have you provide relevant testing.We will have you work as part of our small, dedicated software team on scientific instrumentation projects. We are an established scientific instrument company providing applied biotechnologies for protein characterisation, antibody discovery, and cell line development. Our instruments are built on proprietary innovations in microfluidic systems and transformative in-solution technologies. This is a senior or mid-level role based fully onsite at our offices in Royston, Hertfordshire, with parking available and the office within walking distance of the local train station. The salary is up to £65,000 depending on experience.
