Main duties of the job The role of a Domestic Care Assistant at Bosworth Care Home is integral to supporting residents to live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. This position involves working 12 hours per week from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Responsibilities include communal cleaning to ensure safe and clean environments for residents and employees, domestic tasks such as dusting, polishing, and vacuuming residents bedrooms, and working collaboratively with the home management team to maintain hygiene standards. Additionally, the role involves providing companionship to residents and supporting team members through shadowing and teamwork. The Role Domestic Care Assistant - working from 12 hours per week from 10am to 4pm on a Saturday and a Sunday on a weekly basis
As a Domestic Care Assistant, youll play a vital role in supporting residents to live comfortably, safely, and with dignity. No two days are the same, but your responsibilities will include:
Communal cleaning ensure the communal areas are kept clean and safe for residents and employees
Domestic tasks - dust, polish and vacuum residents bedrooms thoroughly and ensuring use of appropriate warning signs when required
Collaboration - work closely with the home management team to ensure the home meets the standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Companionship - Provide support, communication and engagement to residents.
Team support - helping new or existing colleagues through shadowing and teamwork, and supporting the smooth running of the home when required
What Were Looking For A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK, please note: Under new guidance we are unable to accept skilled or student visas
Caring, positive, and reliable individuals
Previous care experience is not essential, as fully funded training is provided
Opportunities Available: Housekeeper working 18 hours per week over three 6 hour shifts from 10am to 4pm
Housekeeper working 24 hours per week over four 6 hour shifts from 10am to 4pm
