Job summary Barchester Healthcare are looking for an experienced and dedicated Administrator to join our team and play a pivotal role within the home's management team. Providing the General Manager with the support needed to ensure the efficient running of a high quality home, this varied position encompasses managing Customer Experience elements alongside, HR, Recruitment, Payroll, Finance and the supervision of junior members of the administration team. You'll need to be a self-sufficient and professional individual who is enthusiastic and promotes a positive image when communicating with others and talking about the home, creating a positive impression. Along with strong IT skills and excellent organisation, our Administrators will need to be comfortable in giving others direction. Ideal candidates are self-reliant, professional, enthusiastic, and skilled in IT and organization. Key responsibilities include creating a welcoming environment, managing home enquiries and tours for prospective families, maintaining customer databases for commercial performance, driving care home occupancy and reputation, supporting resident and family feedback, assisting in staff recruitment, conducting employment checks, and organizing staff inductions. Additional duties involve payroll preparation, advising on HR queries, safeguarding personal files, attending and recording meeting notes, completing staff rotas, managing safe contents and funds, updating staff training and appraisals, and guiding on development opportunities like apprenticeships. Required skills include customer-facing experience, familiarity with HR administration and recruitment processes, attention to detail, prioritization, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. A CIPD qualification is advantageous.

NEED TO HAVE Experience in a customer facing role Previous involvement in HR administration and recruitment High level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise Proficient user of Microsoft- specifically Word, Excel and Outlook CIPD qualification would be beneficial
