Job summary We are seeking to appoint a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in Knee and hip arthroplasty with a special interest in soft tissue knee / young adult surgery. The post holder will have a recognised fellowship in knee & hip surgery with experience in knee & hip arthroplasty. Multi-ligament and soft tissue reconstruction/ young adult hip would be desirable. Competence in general Orthopaedic trauma surgery is mandatory. The post holder will participate in the general Orthopaedic on call rota, currently 1 in 12 weekends and 1 in 12 weekdays (every third Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday) and support the general Orthopaedic trauma workload.
