Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the North Staffordshire arm (Newcastle and Leek) of the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Talking Therapies Service. This Service is a partnership between North Staffs Combined Health Care, the Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust and third sector providers and is an innovative high performing Talking Therapies team providing effective treatments for a broad range of common mental health problems in primary care.
We are looking to recruit a Registered Mental Health Nurse to a Lead role on a temporary contract to cover maternity leave (fixed term ending 1-Oct-2027).
To apply you should have qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse and be registered with the NMC, and have experience of working in mental health settings across primary/secondary care.
We are able to offer a flexible working pattern with options to work from and home and in one of our bases.
This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RMN to gain leaderships experience, or for an existing leader to gain experience in a Talking Therapies setting.
Main duties of the job
Manage a small team of RMN's who work as part of the Talking Therapies service
Provide supervision and caseload management to the team
Take a lead role in managing the duty team which provides triage for clients entering the service
