Job summary
The administrator will be working with some of our most vulnerable people in Bromley alongside the Advanced Clinical Practitioners for the Bromley Homeless Health Service. We work in partnership with Bromley Homeless Charity, bringing healthcare to those experiencing homeless in the borough. The administrator will be supporting the team as well as working directly with the clients.
Main duties of the job
Supporting the ACPs
Keeping contemporaneous records on the EMIS system
Helping register clients with GP surgeries across the borough
Completing referrals to other services
Assisting with audit processes
Liaising with other primary care services and secondary care services regarding clients
Help to raise awareness to other services about homelessness
Completing follow up / check up calls to clients
Attending meetings when necessary and reporting to the service lead
Coordinate and support the delivery of healthcare services for people experiencing homelessness, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner organisations
Provide comprehensive administrative support to clinicians and the homeless healthcare service, including clinic coordination, patient appointments, and meeting administration
Monitor, analyse, and report service performance data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support service evaluation and development
Use clinical systems and population health data to identify patient needs, support personalised care, and produce activity reports
Maintain effective communication with internal teams, external partners, and homeless support services to ensure seamless patient care
Contribute to service improvement by participating in training, adhering to organisational policies and procedures, and undertaking other duties appropriate to the role

Skills & Abilities Essential
Good computer literacy skills including knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Good interpersonal skills Ability to use databases and prepare spreadsheets. Experience Essential
Significant secretarial/administrative experience Experience of working with a framework of confidentiality Experience of dealing with a range of difficult or challenging situations both on the telephone and in person
