About this role
Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a GP interested in partnership to join The Ridgeway Surgery from Winter 2026 onwards. With four established partners, we are looking to welcome a new colleague who shares our values of excellent patient care, teamwork, innovation and continuous learning.
We are looking for the right person rather than making a quick appointment and have a strong track record of supporting GPs to develop portfolio careers and leadership roles. As general practice continues to evolve, we are strengthening our partnership to help shape the future of our practice and local services.
Whether you are an experienced GP or are considering partnership for the first time, we would be delighted to hear from you. Informal conversations are welcomed before applying.
Main duties of the job
As a GP Partner you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care while contributing to the strategic development of the practice. You will work collaboratively with an experienced multidisciplinary team across our main and branch surgeries, taking an active role in clinical decision-making, service development and practice leadership.
Partners are encouraged to develop areas of interest and have opportunities to become involved in education, quality improvement, digital innovation and wider leadership across our Primary Care Network and neighbourhood. There is no out-of-hours commitment, and the practice provides GP Enhanced Access through an established service.
About us
The Ridgeway Surgery is a forward-thinking PMS practice serving over 15,000 patients from two sites in Harrow. We are rated by the CQC as Good overall and in all domains.
Our multidisciplinary team includes four GP partners, salaried GPs, nurses, pharmacists, advanced clinical practitioners, healthcare assistants and community-based clinicians supporting frail and complex patients. We are a well-established undergraduate and GP training practice with a strong culture of learning, collaboration and mutual support.
We achieve consistently high QOF performance and play an active role within our Primary Care Network and local neighbourhood. Our Alexandra Avenue site has been confirmed as one of the Government's new Neighbourhood Health Centres, creating exciting opportunities for future service development. We also benefit from an engaged Patient Participation Group and encourage our team to pursue leadership roles within the ICB, PCN, neighbourhood, RCGP and other professional organisations.
