Job summary
Location: Community Clinics (Health Harmonie Locations)Reports to: Clinical Lead Dermatologist
To provide high-quality dermatology care within community outpatient clinics, managing a range of skin conditions through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. The post holder will work collaboratively with consultant dermatologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
Main duties of the job
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct independent dermatology outpatient clinics.Diagnose and manage a wide range of dermatological conditions.Perform dermatology procedures within competence, including biopsies, cryotherapy, and minor skin surgery.Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment plans.Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement activities.Work closely with consultants, GPs, and healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Essential Requirements
GMC registration with a licence to practise.Significant experience in Dermatology, including independent outpatient clinic work.Excellent clinical, communication, and organisational skills.Commitment to patient-centred care and clinical governance.
