Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic salaried GP to join our friendly, outgoing, forward-thinking team.
We are a supportive and successful training practice of 9,500 patients and you would be joining a robust MDT made up of 5 Partners, 1 salaried GP, 1 GP Retainer, Registrars, Nursing team, Paramedic, Pharmacy team, as well as our innovative management and admin team.
We work closely with our PCN who provide a paramedic-led home visiting service for our frail and housebound patients, meaning there are minimal home visits for our GPs, a first contact physio service, social prescribing team, and link with mental health and wellbeing coaches.
4-6 sessions per week available

Special Interests supported particularly when complimentary for general practice
6 weeks annual leave plus 1 weeks study leave pro rata
High QoF achieving practice

Person Specification
Experience Essential
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload Proficient in the use of clinical IT systems. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team; Ability to work with limited supervision; Understanding of the pressures faced by GPs and healthcare teams; Appropriate representation with a recognised medical defence organisation; Current DBS check (undertaken less than 6 months before the date of appointment); Proven ability to offer support within a clinical team and share learning points in Practice meetings
Desirable
Proficient in the use of EMIS Web / Docman10 / AccuRx / ICE Experience of working in a GP practice
Qualifications Essential
Fully trained GP. Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice in General Practice A good understanding of GMS contracting requirements and the operation of the Quality Outcomes Framework process(QOF)
