Job summary
An opportunity has arisen within the Catering Department at The Freeman Hospital for a Full Time Catering Assistant to work as a part of our team working in the Freeman Catering Department serving food to staff, visitors patient and of site facilities, as a part of the team you will also be responsible for the cleanliness of the department in line with food hygiene regulations and Trust policies.
Working 5 days over 7 ( shifts you will be working 07:00 to 15:00 and 11:15 to 19:15)

Main duties of the job
Cleaning of the equipment within the department. Working on the food counter serving customers. Working on the Till and taking payment and cashing up. working in the deli bar making fresh sandwiches and salads. stocking of goods and stock rotation. Dealing with complaints. Working in other areas were food is served. Running for food that is required on the front. Working on the patient belt when required Working in the dish wash area stripping the trolleys and placing the crockery through the washers. Filling in of departmental paper work. General cleaning duties within the department. At all times following food hygiene and trust policy regulations.
