This is an exciting opportunity for an experience profession to join our team. The post holder will:

Lead on the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) across the Community Diagnostic Centre at Milford Community Hospital and Working Community Hospital.

Provide expert leadership in quality assurance, clinical governance, risk management, audit, service improvement and accreditation readiness, supporting the CDC in delivery safe, effective, patient-centred diagnostic care.

This is a critical role in supporting an important programme of work to improve the quality and standards of diagnostic services for patients care and experience in our local communities.

Essential Skill and experience:o Relevant degree or equivalent qualificationo Post grad qualification with a quality, radiology or management element or equivalent extensive experience in governanceo Substantial acute NHS operational experienceo Extensive knowledge of Health Service transformation and changeo Excellent understanding of NHS strategic aims and national and local developments

o Haslemere - Haslemere is a quaint and charming market town located in the South of Surrey. The hospital houses one X - ray room and one Ultrasound room with a busy Urgent Treatment Centre. We are also looking at adding an additional ultrasound room out here and considering options for the best use of additional spaceo Milford - Based in the quiet village, Milford Hospital is now home to our brand new state of the art Community Diagnostic Centre, housing 2 MRI scanners and a CT scanner. Additionally we have one X- ray room and two Ultrasound room.o Cranleigh - Situated at the foot of Surrey Hills, Cranleigh is a picturesque and vibrant village and home to Cranleigh Village Hospital. We have one X - ray room and one Ultrasound room here. With the help of the League of Friend Charity, Cranleigh will be receiving a refurbishment in 2026 which will include the installation of a brand new DEXA service.

The CDC Quality and Accreditation Manager will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) across the Community Diagnostic Centre at Milford Community Hospital and Woking Community Hospital.

The post holder will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering all activities required to achieve and maintain UKAS accreditation, ensuring compliance with relevant accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, NHS guidance and best practice frameworks across all CDC diagnostic services.

The role will provide expert leadership in quality assurance, clinical governance, risk management, audit, service improvement and accreditation readiness, supporting the CDC in delivering safe, effective, patient-centred diagnostic services.

This is a critical role in supporting an important programme of work to improve the quality and standards of diagnostic services for patients care and experience in our local communities.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Relevant degree or equivalent qualification Post graduate qualification with a quality, radiology or management element or equivalent extensive experience in governance, safety and accreditation process A Quality Management or Clinical Governance qualification and/or relevant experience Experience in clinical governance, quality assurance and risk management Experience leading quality improvement and change programmes Evidence of continued professional development

Desirable

Imaging quality management qualification Project management experience or qualification. Excellent programme and stakeholder mangement skills Experience with Lean Six Sigma, PRINCE2, MSP or ISO lead auditor

Knowledge Essential

Significant experience in healthcare quality, governance or accreditation roles Radiology/Imaging experience Experience in implementing and managing quality management systems Understanding of UKAS accreditation requirements and assessment processes Understanding of clinical governance, quality assurance and risk management principles Experience of managing improvement programmes and change initiatives Experience of audit design, delivery and reporting. Experience of analysing complex quality and performance data Proven experience of change management within a health care environment or a similar complex organisation

Desirable

Demonstrate a broad knowledge and understanding of Radiology and other related CDC service offered at Milford services and policies Experience preparing services for external accreditation or regulatory inspection. Experience supporting or leading UKAS accreditation programmes Experience working within the NHS Experience within diagnostic services, imaging, pathology or community diagnostic settings. Knowledge of Q-pulse (or similar document management system) Prior experience of accreditation process
