Job summary This role focuses on tracking and managing the referral and treatment process for cancer patients, ensuring that those referred under the Suspected Cancer Pathway are diagnosed promptly and that newly diagnosed patients begin treatment within national timescales- Cancer Guidelines V12.1. The individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate tracking systems and producing weekly reports to monitor patient progress. They will also liaise with MDT Navigators across SWL network to ensure that patients requiring treatment are flagged and treated accordingly. In addition to referral and treatment tracking, the MDTC are expected to be involved in capturing and updating patient information in Trust databases, ensuring all relevant details are recorded and up-to-date.
