About the Position As a Senior Process Engineer, you will become a key technical partner within Simatek's Process & Proposal team. Your primary responsibility will be to transform customer requirements into competitive, technically robust process solutions that support the company's continued growth. You will work at the intersection of Technology, Sales, Engineering, Procurement and Project Management, playing a vital role in defining system solutions around Simatek's core products. This position requires a broad understanding of complete process systems and the ability to ensure seamless integration between all technical interfaces. A significant part of your daily work will be as active part of the proposal phase, either working on the definition of new standards that can be quoted, in direct collaboration with Technology and other functions through definition of the system both in terms of technical functionality and commercial, and also preparing technical proposals. Both tasks require performing process calculations, sizing equipment, collaborating with suppliers, and clarifying customer specific technical solutions. At the same time, you will act as an important technical advisor, supporting customer discussions and helping develop solutions that are both technically sound and commercially competitive. The role also offers excellent development opportunities. You will have the chance to influence engineering standards, design tools, and future process solutions. Over time, the position may evolve toward a more commercial role or product development, depending on both the company's needs and your own ambitions. You will become part of an international organization working across borders, where English is the primary business language. The role includes occasional international travel for customer visits and technical meetings. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related engineering discipline Minimum five years of experience in process engineering, system design, or the development of technical solutions within industrial environments Experience with process calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment sizing Strong understanding of industrial process systems and the integration of multiple technologies Experience with technical proposals, quotations, or engineering projects is an advantage Ability to translate customer requirements into practical, technically sound, and commercially attractive solutions Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across multiple disciplines Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
