Te Mahi | About the Role
As the Client Services Manager Team Leader, you will play an integral role in supporting the Area Manager with the day-to-day leadership of our Homecare services across the Central North Island region. You will lead by example, providing coaching, guidance, and support to the Client Services Managers team while ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred services.
Working closely with internal teams, Service Users, Support Workers, and healthcare professionals, you will help drive operational excellence, strengthen team capability, and ensure exceptional customer experiences.
This is a permanent full-time role offering 40 hours per week (8.30am to 5.00pm), Monday to Friday, based in our Hamilton/Tamahere office.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, coach, and support the Client Services Manager team, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing culture.
• Support the Area Manager with operational leadership, service delivery, workforce planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with Service Users, families and whānau, Support Workers, healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes.
• Oversee service coordination, including referrals, roster management, escalations, recruitment support, and the delivery of high-quality community services.
• Promote quality, Health & Safety, and compliance while supporting the team to resolve challenges and deliver outstanding customer service.

We are looking for someone who brings:
• Experience leading teams within health, disability, aged care, homecare, or community services, with a strong understanding of service delivery and operational coordination.
• Excellent leadership, relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to inspire and support others.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
• A commitment to quality improvement, culturally safe practice, and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
• A Full New Zealand Driver Licence, access to your own vehicle, the legal right to work permanently in New Zealand, and the ability to successfully complete Police Vetting.
