Work Schedule
2-2-3 Rotating Schedule - 12-Hour Shifts: 6:15am-6:30p OR 6:15pm-6:30am
Our schedule is designed to support work-life balance by providing:
• Every other weekend off
• Built-in three-day weekends
• Predictable rotation for easier planning
• Approximately 15 workdays per month

What You'll Do
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated manufacturing machinery (conveyors, robots, furnaces, presses, and handling systems).
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Support equipment start-ups, changeovers, and adjustments.
• Use a CMMS system to document work orders and maintenance activities.
• Follow OSHA safety standards, including proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to improve reliability and performance.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas aligned with 5S practices.
• Support NSG's ISO14001 environmental compliance programs.
Required Qualifications
• Technical degree OR 3–5 years of industrial maintenance technician experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude: gears, motors, drives, bearings, power transmission.
• Intermediate electrical knowledge: sensors, relays, controls, VFDs, motors.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Ability to perform logical, data-driven troubleshooting.
• Comfortable using basic computer systems and CMMS software.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work on a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills
• Rockwell PLC-5 or Logix PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read ladder logic for diagnostics.
• Experience with Fanuc or ABB robotics (fault recovery, basic programming).
• Advanced troubleshooting of automation equipment and multi-axis systems.
• Welding experience (MIG/ARC).
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with heat, noise, and moving equipment.
• Occasional work at heights or in confined spaces
