Job Summary

The Warehouse Worker performs a variety of warehouse, production, packaging, material handling, and housekeeping duties to support safe and efficient plant operations. This position operates forklifts and production equipment, supports packaging and warehouse activities, assists with inventory movement and storage, maintains housekeeping standards, and provides operational coverage as needed. Employees are expected to work safely, maintain product quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse, production, and utility functions to support safe and efficient plant operations.

• Operate forklifts, production equipment, and material handling systems to move, package, and process products.

• Load and unload materials, maintain inventory accuracy, and complete required documentation and system transactions.

• Maintain housekeeping, sanitation, and organization standards throughout the facility.

• Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and food safety requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Crosstrain across multiple operational areas and perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Basic computer skills and ability to use scanning devices and electronic systems

• Ability to understand production schedules and operating procedures.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to wear required PPE including a hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility apparel, and safety footwear.

• Physical requirements include ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Additionally, the employee must be able to push, pull, reach, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and perform repetitive tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience

• Previous forklift experience

Working Conditions

This job is performed in all types of weather conditions, some work may be performed inside plant buildings and others are performed outside; this involves the employee to work in hot, humid, wet, dusty, cool, and cold environments.
