Director of Housekeeping Salaried: $62,400 Equivalent Hourly: $30/hour Shift: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise laundry staff and assist with the collection, laundering, and distribution of resident linens, garments, and facility laundry
• Coordinate daily laundry services with other departments to ensure efficient operations and resident satisfaction
• Develop daily, short-range, and long-range plans for laundry services and department operations
• Schedule staff, assign duties, evaluate performance, and assist with employee training and orientation
• Ensure resident personal belongings are properly handled and safeguarded
• Manage department inventory and order supplies and equipment as needed
• Maintain compliance with resident rights, safety standards, infection control practices, and facility policies
• Identify and address operational concerns, equipment issues, and safety hazards
• Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary team and perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree in Environmental Services preferred
• Minimum experience requirement: 1 year of experience working in a laundry or housekeeping position; 1 year of supervisory experience in a service industry preferred
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to supervise, train, and motivate team members
• Knowledge of laundry operations, safety practices, and infection control procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and resident-centered environment
