About this role
What you'll do:
• Locate and gather raw material, appropriate molds, packaging materials, etc
• Verify initial machine and job startup. Run initial measurements after job startup to confirm quality and conformity of part and make any necessary adjustments
• Load and unload moldings from the machines
• Perform some manual operations on certain parts
• Examine parts for defects and measure parts to ensure conformance with specifications
• Package and label parts from the takeoff station
• Use a computer to make labels with proper lot date
• Complete transfer paperwork and inspection sheets
• Assist with equipment maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Attend work regularly and predictably and uphold Company values in all work aspects
What you'll need to have:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. daily and 100 lbs. rarely
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize job duties and have a keen sense of attention to detail
• Ability to accurately take measurements
