HKN Hamrin Ltd. is a privately held, independent oil and gas company operating in the Republic of Iraq. The Hamrin Block is comprised of 535 km2 and contains one producing field. The Hamrin field produces oil primarily from the Tertiary (Miocene) reservoirs — the Jeribe and Euphrates formations — with the Dhiban formation as a secondary reservoir.

Position Summary:
To perform a variety of general cleaning duties in any area of the Camp or offices as directed and actively help maintain a hygienic and healthy environment for the HKN workforce. Specific duties will include cleaning of all surfaces, walls and doors, and bathroom & toilet services; also vacuuming, mopping and cleaning of floor surfaces. Bed making and changes to linen and towels is a key activity, as is monitoring cabins and rooms for faults and breakages. Active participation in waste segregation and recycling schemes is important. Attention to detail and a positive attitude a must. The right person is punctual, thorough but fast, and eager to learn.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
• General Cleaning of Accommodation Cabins, including emptying of trash bins, mopping, and cleaning cabin floor every day, including making of the beds.
• Change bed linen once per week
• Change Towels once per week
• Clean the Toilets with cleaning agents supplied, using a toilet brush, including cleaning around the toilet bowl.
• Clean the floor around the toilets daily by mopping with water/disinfectant mixture
• Cleaning of shower cubicle and shower tray and shower doors with approved detergent.
• Weekly clean the shower head with a suitable brush.
• Ensuring that there is sufficient drinking water, toilet paper, and soap in each room.
• Transfer dirty Laundry from the room to Camp laundry facility as required.
• Make sure that the rooms are always clean including cleaning of the windows.
• Clean Office Desk daily.
• Empty Office Trash Bins.
• If requested assist in gathering garbage found in and around the Camp perimeter to help ensure the Camp's grounds are always clean and tidy .
• Report any signs of leaks and breakages immediately to the duty Camp Boss.
• Identify and report possible repair requirements
• Assist with loading and offloading of housekeeping, cleaning, and camp supply deliveries,
• Assist in stock management of housekeeping and cleaning materials, including stock counts and replenishment requests,
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of stores and storage areas for housekeeping supplies,
• Assist with the setup and turnover of rooms/cabins for new arrivals and departures.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
• Must be of legal age to work by require age of 18 or older by labour law.
• Candidate shall be fit and healthy and use to long hours of manual working.
• Candidate shall be expected to carry a “Yellow Card” and be free from Scabies.
• Candidate shall agree to undergo a medical health check prior to signing the Employment Contract.
• The Working Hours are 12 hours.
• The Candidate shall be expected to make his own way to and from the Work location. Company will provide monthly transportation fee.
• Candidate must be flexible and agree to be moved from one Work site to the next Work site depending on Company's requirements.
• Candidate must take instructions from the Company's Camp Boss for general housekeeping or from Head Chef if Working in the Kitchen.
Physical Requirements
• Must be fit and Healthy and have an up-date Yellow Card with Doctors certificates.
• Must have the physical abilities to carry out the functions of the job description.
