Position Summary :

The Camp Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of a remote camp, ensuring the well-being and safety of all camp residents and staff. This role involves overseeing accommodation and housekeeping to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the camp. This role is responsible for the management of camp services (offices, accommodations, laundry, cleaning, gym and recreation facilities). The Camp Supervisor will ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and service are maintained at all times.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all camp operations, including accommodation, housekeeping, and common facilities management.

• Ensure camp operations comply with company policies, local regulations, and safety standards.

• Submit daily POB reports.

• Conduct regular inspections of accommodation, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance.

• Supervise camp staff, including housekeeping, general labourers and gym staff.

• Develop work schedules and ensure staff availability to meet the camp's operational needs.

• Provide training and guidance to staff to maintain high service standards.

• Act as the main point of contact for camp residents and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.

• Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction among camp residents.

• Manage stock levels for catering, cleaning supplies, and other essential camp materials.

• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of supplies.

• Maintain inventory records and ensure cost-effective operations.

• Maintain good relations with local suppliers, contractors and service companies.

• Prepare and submit regular reports on camp operations, staff performance, and budget management.

• Plan and assist with the installation, construction and improvements of all camps and office complexes.

• Ensure compliance and safety guidelines to all accommodated personnel on camp with regular review and updating of camp rules and procedures when required.

• Provide daily reports to management.

• Supervise day-to-day camp activities, ensuring all camp facilities and services run smoothly and to standard,

• Coordinate camp consolidation, expansion, and mobilization/demobilization activities with Field Services management,

• Liaise with HSE, Security, and camp staff to ensure emergency preparedness, including fire drills and evacuation procedures,

• Monitor utilities (power, water, and waste management) in the camp, coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor on issues,

• Oversee the upkeep of gym and recreation facilities, ensuring equipment is safe and well maintained,

• Support the onboarding and orientation of new arrivals to camp accommodation, facilities, and rules,

• Escalate maintenance, infrastructure, or supply issues promptly to the relevant supervisor for resolution.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

• Proficient in English and Report Writing.

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Preferred certification in Facility Management, HACCP certification or related.

• Proven 5+ years' experience as a Camp Supervisor Camp Manager, or similar role in remote or industrial camp settings.

• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to supervise a diverse team.

• Knowledge of camp services including housekeeping, catering, and facility maintenance.

• Good understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

• Good knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word & PPT is required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage staff and resident relations.

• Ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
