KEY TASKS
• Understand and follow work instructions and control plans
• Maintain an organized clean work environment and positively impact on the plant's safety initiatives
• PLC Ladder Logic Troubleshooting, Hardware Troubleshooting, Programming, Analog Inputs & Outputs, Scan Time Functional Block Diagrams, Ethernet.
• Motors & Drives- basic understanding of AC & DC Motors & Drives.
• Robotics- Basic Programming, Teach Paths, I/O & Interfacing, Troubleshooting.
• PC's- Operating Systems, Hardware, Drivers & Networking
• HMI's- Understanding of Basic Concepts, Troubleshooting, Interfacing
• Assist Automation/Process Engineers with development, installation and programming of line upgrades and line installations.
• Understands required PPE, location and purpose of all lockouts and e-stops.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to set priorities and goals
• Demonstrate excellent attendance, attitude, and decision-making skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Education:
• AAS Degree with an Automation emphasis preferred.
• Must be willing to enroll and complete established on-site or off-site training when offered.
Preferred experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in controls, electrical, or maintenance
Other Requirements:
• Ability to Work All Shifts
• Valid driver's license required for business travel
• Regular and predictable attendance required
• Cooperate within teams to carry out tasks and responsibilities
• Overtime may be required as workload or projects dictate, including weekends and holidays
KEY COMPETENCIES
• Basic skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis.
