About this role
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Follow all company safety rules and maintain a safe work environment.
• Ensure functional and aesthetic quality of assembled products.
• Match sequentially numbered units with proper paperwork.
• Perform in-line process and QC checks, complete QC check sheets accurately.
• Assist in the preparation and follow Manufacturing Instructions (MI's).
• Read and understand simple blueprints, diagrams, and measuring devices.
• Meet daily production requirements by pre-established production standards.
• Perform basic computer functions, including printing barcodes for finished products.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to prevent work cell shortages.
• Prepare parts for “return to stock” as necessary.
• Follow all departmental procedures and document production accurately on build sheets, claim sheets, scrap tickets, and red tags for defective parts.
• Perform work in other areas assigned while maintaining acceptable standards.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
• Lift/move up to 51 lbs.
• Continuous lifting and bending.
• Frequent pushing, pulling, twisting, stooping, squatting, reaching (forward, backward, overhead), grasping, and repetitive movements.
