For our Mainframe Shared Services team we are looking for a z/OS Automation Engineer.
In this position you will be responsible for:
design, build, test and maintain Automation, Monitoring and System Availability solutions in a highly automated z/OS Mainframe environmentPlan and execute DR drills ( failover and failback) Your team
You will be working in the Automation Engineering team in Pune/India and you will interact with other Mainframe Engineering teams and the related Support teams in Basel/Zurich and Weehawken.
We are a team of technical specialists who are responsible for the planning, development, maintenance as well as problem management in the area of z/OS Automation and Disaster solutions (Business Continuity Management). We analyze and realize automation solution in close co-operation with the appropriate software owners and clients.
In addition we providing 24×7 support by On-call service for applications which run on the IBM z/OS platform covering multiple regions in different time zones. We provide services based on the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and ensure the System availability entities for all production-, test- and development environments.
Your experience and skills:
You have:
Knowledge of z/OS Mainframes and IBM or 3rd party Software, in particular SA390 and/or BMC Mainview software products would be helpfulExperience in IBM Parallel Sysplex technology SA390/GDPS/Hyperswap/PPRCExperience in problem analyzing and software development writing REXX scripts for solutionExperience in AI software and its implementation with willingness to use it for z/OS Mainframe environment (for AI Automation Eng) Example : BMC AMI OpsMS office suite experience
