Job Summary
Mechanical Engineering Co-Op
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Mechanical Engineering Student for our Co-op located in our Orangeburg, SC site.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and other cross-functional teams.
What a typical day looks like:Assist Engineering Team with time studies, reviewing documentation, drawings and CADMonitor Engineering DOE (Design Of Experiment) projectsCollaborate with Engineering Team with writing reports and reporting findings to teamAttend team meetings and support project work as neededStudent qualities we're seeking for this Co-op assignment:Junior/Senior student pursuing Mechanical/Industrial Engineering majorCAD tools (Solidworks) experienceLean/Six Sigma helpfulEnthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environmentHighly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skillsPrevious internship experience a plus!Co-op Program Requirements:Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for the semesterCurrently enrolled in 4-year accredited universityMinimum GPA: 3.0Application Deadline:
