Job Description Summary The Robotics&Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting robotics, and digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing operations. The role focuses on improving safety, quality, productivity, sustainability, and operational efficiency through the application of industrial automation, Industry 4.0 technologies, AI-enabled solutions The candidate will work closely with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, IT/Digital Technology, and external suppliers to deliver automation projects from concept through implementation while ensuring reliable and sustainable plant.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities: Lead robotics and automation transformation projects from concept, engineering, commissioning, and handover to productionSupport manufacturing operations by ensuring the reliability, optimization, and continuous improvement of automation systemsUtilize Industry 4.0 technologies, industrial networking, AI-enabled applications, and data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and decision-makingCollaborate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, IT/Digital Technology, and external suppliers to deliver effective technical solutionsDrive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies and promoting digital innovation across manufacturing operations

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical and/or electronics engineering, automation engineering, robotics engineering, or a related engineering disciplineMinimum 5 years of experience implementing industrial automation systems in a manufacturing environmentExperience with industrial networking and automation architecturesKnowledge of industrial databases and manufacturing data collection systemsStrong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI, SCADA, Industrial instrumentation, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Servo systemsGood verbal and written skills in English and TurkishWilling to work at Gebze plant
