CO Salary Range: USD 124,000.00 - 220,000.00 per year

Looking to steer the future of video operations while delivering exceptional customer experiences? As a Director of CDN and Cloud DVR Video Operations, you will be leading the strategy, operations, scalability, and reliability of the company's Content Delivery Network (CDN) and Cloud DVR platforms. This leader will oversee engineering and operational teams supporting large-scale video delivery infrastructure, storage, streaming workflows, and platform performance. The role will drive platform modernization, operational excellence, capacity planning, and cross-functional alignment to ensure a high-quality video experience for customers.

How You'll Make an Impact Lead and manage video operations teams across platforms, ensuring optimal performance of video distribution, conditional access, VOD, CDN and CPE devicesProvide engineering direction and support for new technologies and current operational initiativesEvaluate and advise executive leadership on system operations and strategic planning for next-generation video solutionsDirect quality control programs and maintain consistent operational procedures in compliance with Federal Communications Commission standardsOversee project planning, capital budgeting and business plan development for video operationsDrive succession planning and motivate teams to consistently enhance the customer experience Working Conditions Office environmentExposure to moderate noise levelsTravel required

Required Qualifications

Education Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field or equivalent experience Experience 7+ years of engineering management experience10+ years of experience in video control and distribution systemsDemonstrated experience with project management Skills Ability to read, write and speak EnglishAbility to communicate clearly in person, by phone and in writing with employees, customers and suppliersAbility to make decisions and solve problems under pressureAbility to supervise and motivate teamsAbility to direct organizations as a leader of leaders and managersProficient in using personal computers and software applicationsKnowledge of Spectrum products and servicesOrganizational and strategic agilityAdvanced knowledge of video solutions, conditional access systems, DAC, DNCS, DCASAdvanced knowledge of VOD, SDV and CDN architectures and operationsAdvanced knowledge of MPEG2, MPEG4, transcoding and related technologiesAbility to manage multiple projects and tasksAdvanced knowledge of IP video delivery solutionsAdvanced knowledge of Federal Communications Commission regulations and reporting complianceWorking knowledge of IP multi-castDemonstrated exceptional leadership skills Preferred Qualifications

Education MBASCTE/BCTE certification or equivalentIndustry and vendor-specific certifications and training Skills

Establish standards for system performance, observability, security, patching, and operational readiness, championing automation, CI/CD, and operational tooling to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.Strong experience with CDN, streaming media, video workflows, origin services, or Cloud DVR platforms.Deep understanding of Linux systems, high-availability architecture, observability, automation, and incident response.Experience with cloud and virtualized infrastructure, storage platforms, and large-scale distributed systems.Familiarity with networking technologies such as load balancing, routing, failover, firewalls, and traffic engineering.Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, or similar tools. #LI-RM1 EVD700 2026-77580 2026

The base pay for this position generally is between $124,000.00 and $220,000.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
