Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Delivery Manager to lead a globally connected engineering team responsible for delivering and supporting critical technology solutions used across Vanguard's international business.
This role combines people leadership, delivery leadership, and strategic partnership. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders across multiple regions, helping teams deliver meaningful outcomes while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team of engineers, providing coaching, feedback, and performance managementOversee delivery of technology initiatives, ensuring alignment to product goals and business prioritiesPartner with global stakeholders across regions to manage priorities and drive outcomesSupport operational planning, including staffing, delivery forecasting, and team capacityDrive continuous improvement across team processes, delivery model, and operational efficiencyContribute to shaping team strategy and identifying opportunities for future value creationMonitor delivery metrics and communicate status, risks, and progress to leadershipCollaborate with technical experts to inform decisions, ensuring solutions align with business and technology needsEnsure adherence to enterprise technology and risk standards Qualifications:
Minimum of eight years related work experience, with at least five years of project management experience.Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.Prior people leadership experience (required; can be from a previous role, not necessarily current)Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across multiple teams or regionsProven decision-making and strategic thinking abilities in complex or ambiguous environmentsExperience leading delivery in a technology or engineering environmentAbility to work across global teams and time zonesExperience with or interest in AI tools and emerging technologiesFamiliarity with modern engineering practices (e.g., CI/CD, cloud environments such as AWS) Special Factors
