About this role
We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Louisville, KY.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Completing repair activities on generators or componentsEngaging with customers in a courteous and professional mannerPerform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic toolsMaintain detailed records of serviceAdhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policiesOngoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins productsMaintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision - hands on exposure to working on power generation products.Basic Diesel Engine experience.Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.Able to perform repairs on ATS systems and able to perform commissioning on a new ATS installation. Salary rate commensurate with experience. Education, Licenses, Certifications: Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred), Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution, Current relevant electrical certification, Locally valid driving permit, this position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. A current valid license is required for this role, must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience.
Experience: Basic level field service work experience, Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with of power generation products, High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience, Customer service experience
