What Will You Do:

Ensures good customer relations through consistent on time deliveries and acting in a courteous and professional manner.Transport and delivery of goods in a timely mannerPick materials for orders, load/unload material, and manifest ship ticketsProperly and safely secure loads and assure loads are within vehicle weightVerify count and condition of freightMake reports of overages, shortages and damages as neededPrepares receipt for the load pickup or deliveryCollects payments for goods delivered and for delivery chargesMaintains telephone or radio contact with manager to receive delivery instructionsFuel truck and gather or restock any material that is needed to perform daily duties and task at the end of every day or shiftWhen there are no delivers to be made, employee is to perform warehouse dutiesClean and maintain work areasResponsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out or accepted inAdhere to all processes What Will You Bring:

Valid driver's license meeting Crawford requirementsAbility to obtain and pass a DOT physicalSix months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceBasic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills requiredHigh school diploma or equivalentPIT proficiency; reach truck, order picker, "sit down" propane. Current certification a plusManual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small partsAbility to lift up to 30 pounds Vehicle Operation:

Operates company vehicle in a safe manner and compliant to all State and federal DOT standards and regulationsMakes report of any vehicle problems and defectsOperates MHE safely and efficiently as requiredReports vehicle accident/incident immediately to managementMaintains a truck log according to State and Federal regulationsInspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, water, and always maintain a clean vehiclePerforms emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains and spark plugs Work Environment
