We are looking for a talented Skilled Technician - Level III to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Frankfort, KY
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Perform skilled maintenance and manufacturing support activities that help maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and ensure production goals are achieved.Champion a safe work environment by following HSE standards, using proper PPE, identifying hazards, and promoting a culture where team members look out for one another.Maintain high quality standards by performing inspections, following process documentation, and ensuring all work is completed according to specifications, diagrams, and operating procedures.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying manufacturing constraints, solving operational problems, and recommending process enhancements that improve efficiency and reduce waste.Support preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities while providing valuable feedback to strengthen maintenance programs and equipment performance.Serve as a knowledgeable team resource by coaching and instructing others, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, and actively participating in TPM initiatives that improve safety, quality, material flow, and employee development. To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Prioritize safety in every task by consistently following health and safety procedures, recognizing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic hazards, and proactively identifying and addressing risks before they impact people or equipment.Collaborate effectively with team members and support functions to solve problems, improve processes, and achieve shared production, maintenance, and quality objectives.Communicate clearly and professionally with operators, peers, supervisors, and support teams to ensure issues, updates, and improvement opportunities are understood and acted upon quickly.Demonstrate strong manufacturing knowledge and a continuous improvement mindset by learning equipment, processes, and systems, while actively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.Take ownership and deliver results by making sound decisions, staying accountable for commitments, and consistently completing maintenance and production support activities with a high level of quality and urgency.Remain adaptable and committed to learning by embracing feedback, developing new technical skills, valuing diverse perspectives, and continuously improving your ability to troubleshoot and solve complex manufacturing challenges. Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Candidates must successfully obtain and maintain the required welding certification to demonstrate proficiency and meet the qualifications of the role.
