Your role
As an Senior RTR Accountant (Expert) within our GBS Finance organization, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes across our global business. You will work closely with stakeholders from various regions, helping maintain the integrity of financial data while driving continuous process improvements.
In your daily work you will be responsible for:
preparing and processing journal entries, including accruals and provisionsperforming general ledger reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of financial recordsexecuting month-end closing activities in line with established deadlinesmanaging fixed assets transactions, including capitalization, transfers, disposals and depreciationprocessing payroll accounting and related reconciliationsperforming FX valuations, reclassifications and other standard RTR processessupporting internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanationsparticipating in process improvement initiatives and special projectscollaborating with business partners and finance teams across the organization to deliver efficient and compliant accounting processes This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in Record-to-Report processes, gain exposure to international finance operations and contribute directly to the quality of Aptiv's financial reporting.
Your background
at least 3 years of professional experience in accounting or financeexperience in General Ledger accounting is an advantageuniversity degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is preferredstrong analytical and problem-solving skillsexcellent communication skills and attention to detailEnglish language proficiencystrong Excel skillsexperience with SAP is an assetability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a global team Why join us?
