How You'll Make an Impact Prepare, reconcile and remit federal, state and local employment tax returns accurately and on scheduleEnsure payroll reporting and payments adhere to Spectrum policies and regulatory requirementsConduct studies and recommend improvements for compliance and employment tax operationsAssist with resolving tax agency matters and collaborate with Payroll Processing and Technology teams on system releases and patchesSupport verification of employment tax withholdings and reconciliation of employee tax balancesCoordinate information for payroll tax audits and prepare reports related to tax credits and incentives Working Conditions Office environment

Required Qualifications

Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education Experience 5+ years employment tax work experience Skills Ability to read, write, speak and understand EnglishDemonstrated knowledge of federal, state and local taxable compensation and unemployment reportingKnowledge of employment tax journal entries affecting balance sheet and income statement accountsAbility to communicate professionally with employees, customers and suppliers in person, by phone and in writingProficiency with personal computer and software applications such as word processing and spreadsheetsAbility to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesSuperior organizational, critical thinking and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications
