Salary range: £43,811 per annum pro rata inclusive of Outer London Weighting rising to £50,136 incrementally each year

Middlesex University is seeking an inspiring and industry connected Lecturer in Fashion Communication & Styling to join our vibrant creative community.
We are looking for a creative practitioner and emerging academic who is passionate about developing innovative fashion communicators, image-makers and visual storytellers.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines contemporary professional practice with a commitment to outstanding teaching and student success.
As part of our Design and Creative Practice department in MDX Studios, you will contribute to a dynamic learning environment that encourages experimentation, industry engagement and creative excellence.
You will:
Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Fashion Communication & Styling, helping students develop the creative, technical and professional skills needed to thrive in the fashion industry Teach and inspire students across Fashion Communication & Styling modules and related disciplines Design and develop innovative learning experiences and teaching materials Provide constructive feedback and academic support to students Contribute to curriculum development and course enhancement Lead modules and support wider programme delivery Engage in professional practice and knowledge exchange activities Build and maintain links with industry partners and professional networks Support student recruitment, induction and progression activities Supervise postgraduate students where appropriate
