About this role

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Lecturer in ESOL to teach on full and part-time ESOL courses on a range of levels from Pre-Entry to Level 2 including group tutorials, numeracy and IT for ESOL, including delivery to High Needs learners. The role may involve some evening teaching.

You will possess a degree or minimum of Level 3 in a relevant vocational area, together with an approved English Language Specialist Teaching qualification (minimum CELTA/ Cert TESOL) and should have experience of teaching ESOL in an FE setting to adults and young learners, including ESOL students with High Needs. You should also be able to deliver Numeracy to ESOL students, IT/Essential Digital Skills and vocational subjects (Entry to Level 1). You will possess a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector, or be willing to work towards this, supported by the College.
