About the role Imperial's Vision for Education in the Age of AI , published in June 2026, sets out a clear and urgent ambition to reaffirm what makes our education distinctive: rigorous disciplinary mastery, independent thinking, and human connection, while equipping every student and member of staff with the skills to engage with AI critically, responsibly, and confidently. The Centre for AI in Learning and Teaching (CALT) will be the principal vehicle to deliver the priority activities identified in the vision. It is a dedicated team, working in close collaboration with all four Faculties, central education focused teams and all Academic Departments over a three-year transformation programme.
