About this role

Working Time: 100% FTE (35 hours per week)

Are you a natural at influencing others to achieve the best every day? Are customers at the centre of your focus? Are you a qualified and experienced trade professional who is looking to progress into a supervisory role?

Acting as first line management for a team of trade staff, you will have a flexible approach to ensure the service being delivered is efficient and effective to meet the needs of a wide portfolio of clients. You will join our Maintenance team that forms part of the Facilities Directorate, which is dedicated to providing a wide range of support services connected with the effective management, development and maintenance of the University.

You will be part of the Maintenance team, delivering reactive and planned maintenance across the University, where you will be central to delivering the student experience for the University. You will be able to work unsupervised, and on your own initiative, within a large and complex organisation, whilst maintaining a safe working environment for all our staff, students, and visitors.
