3. Charity Arm – Donating proceeds from concerts to charitable causes and community initiatives.

Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

As an Immigration Support Specialist, you are responsible for supporting your organization’s visa requirements by managing and processing all Temporary Activity (Subclass 408) visa applications, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission. Your duties include preparing and reviewing applications, verifying documents, coordinating with applicants and the Department of Home Affairs, and maintaining accurate records while resolving any issues or RFIs that may arise.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and submit Subclass 408 visa applications in a timely and accurate manner.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Australian immigration regulations relevant to Subclass 408 visas.Collect, organise, and verify supporting documents from applicants.Liaise with applicants to provide guidance on required documentation and application steps.Track application progress and manage correspondence with the Department of Home Affairs as required.Maintain accurate records of all visa applications and supporting files.Assist in identifying and resolving any issues or requests for further information (RFIs)Checking emails and portals for updates from artists, managers, or lawyersCommunicating with artists about missing documentsUsing the Migration Manager system to process visa applicationsDo the compliance checks, including verifying information against visa requirementsEnsuring declaration are completed, contract are signed and all endorsement are attached to applicant files. Direct reporting structure was established with the candidate reporting directly to the client, with afternoon time dedicated to liaising with the legal team and preparing questions.Requirements

At least minimum 3 years for experience in immigration, paralegal, or administrative support roleBachelor’s degree (Public relation, Human Resources, Migration Law, or any related field)Open to accommodate candidates from BPO, Travel Agency and Human Resource industries. Strong knowledge or willingness to develop expertise in ANY of these Subclass 408, 482, 400, 407 visa processesHigh attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Willingness to learn online application platforms like ImmiAccount, Basecamp, Migration Manager, Google Docs and Docu Sign is nice to haveCandidate must have their own equipment
