FocusVision is seeking a caring Optometrist to provide temporary coverage during an upcoming maternity leave from October through January. What you’ll do In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive eye exams, evaluate patients’ visual needs, diagnose and manage eye health concerns, and recommend treatment plans, prescriptions, or follow-up care as needed. You’ll partner closely with the practice team to help patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visit. This is a great opportunity for a doctor who enjoys quickly building rapport, stepping into an established clinical setting, and keeping the patient experience running smoothly. Whether you’re helping with routine vision care or supporting patients with ongoing eye health needs, your presence will help the practice continue delivering thoughtful, high-quality care. The schedule is highly flexible, with options for one to two days per week, select fill-in dates, partial-day coverage, or another arrangement that best fits your availability.
Who you are You’re a dependable, patient-focused Optometrist who brings strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and a warm chairside manner to every exam. You’re comfortable joining an established private practice, partnering with the team, and creating a positive experience for patients with a variety of vision and eye health needs. Adaptable, professional, and confident working independently while still being approachable and collaborative, you understand the importance of continuity of care and are committed to helping patients feel the same level of trust, attention, and support they expect from their regular care team. This opportunity is ideal for a doctor looking for flexible, short-term coverage in a welcoming private practice setting, with coverage needed from October through January for approximately one to two days per week; the practice is also open to partial availability, select fill-in dates, or a schedule that works best for you.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Optometry license in Colorado
