Vitalant is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist I or Medical Lab Generalist dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Medical Laboratory Scientist /Generalist is vital. Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by contributing to laboratory operations. You will manage reagents, supplies, and inventory, input patient data, and provide exceptional customer service. What to Expect Schedule: Evenings 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM with W/E rotation (w/e shift differential) Training: Days Base Wage: $21.63-$32.17 Location: 875 Greentree, Pittsburgh, PA Our comprehensive total rewards support you, your family, and your future with:

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Generalist, you'll get to:
• Manage Special Red Cell inventory and distribution.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and identify malfunctions.
• Conduct preparation and prequalification of reagents.
Requirements: Medical Lab Generalist
• Must have a Bachelor's degree that meets CLIA requirements (medical sciences, chemistry or biology).

• $21.63-$22.38 per hour (based on years of relevant experience)
Medical Lab Scientist
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Lab Science OR have a Bachelor's degree with ASCP Medical Lab Scientist or Blood Bank certification.

• $32.17/ hour.
