What you will do:

*Care provided is appropriate to the age of the patients served, as defined in the scope of service for the Nurse Epidemiologist s area of practice, * Evaluates and monitors quality of patient care related to Infection Control. * Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of growth and development. * Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients. * Performs hospital wide surveillance activities. * Initiates and participates in related patient care activities. * Evaluates and monitors quality of patient care related to Infection Control.

Minimum Qualifications * Graduate of school of nursing is required. * Certification in Infection Control preferred. * Minimum of two (2) years prior Infection Control experience in an acute care facility is necessary. * Excellent verbal and written skills are necessary. Licensure * Registered Nurse required
