Position Summary Primm Valley Casino Resorts is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support for the Human Resources Department. This position plays a vital role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, compliance, training, and employee engagement initiatives. The Human Resources Coordinator serves as a trusted resource for team members while helping ensure compliance with company policies, federal and state employment laws, and Nevada gaming regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process. • Prepare offer letters, background check documentation, and pre-employment paperwork. • Conduct new hire orientation and facilitate the onboarding process to ensure positive employee experience. • Ensure all required hiring documents, employment forms, and compliance paperwork are completed accurately and in a timely manner. • Assist with employment verifications and onboarding follow-up activities. Human Resources Administration
• Maintain accurate employee personnel files and electronic HRIS records. • Process employee status changes, transfers, promotions, wage adjustments, and separations. • Track employee badges, gaming licenses, certifications, and other required credentials. • Assist with HR reporting, document retention, and departmental recordkeeping. • Support payroll by ensuring employee information is complete and accurate. Employee Relations & Team Member Support
• Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, payroll, and HR programs. • Assist with employee recognition, engagement activities, wellness initiatives, and special events. • Support HR leadership with employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation. • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information. Compliance & Training
• Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. • Maintain records required by Nevada gaming regulations and licensing requirements. • Coordinate required compliance training, new hire training, and annual certification programs. • Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, and HR compliance initiatives. General Administrative Support
• Prepare HR correspondence, reports, presentations, and other departmental communications. • Assist with recruiting events, job fairs, career outreach, and employee appreciation programs. • Order and maintain HR office supplies and departmental materials. • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
• Human Resources equivalent experience may be considered. • One (1) to three (3) years of Human Resources, administrative, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. • Working knowledge of Human Resources principles, employment laws, and HRIS systems. • Experience in hospitality, gaming, hotel, or resort operations is preferred. • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills. • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with professionalism. • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative HR team.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. • Ability to move through multiple resort facilities as needed. • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally. • Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, printers, and telephones. • Ability to occasionally work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

Work Environment
• Work is performed in both office and operational areas of the resort. • Position requires frequent interaction with employees, guests, and management throughout the property. • May require walking between multiple buildings and departments across the resort. • May occasionally work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. • Due to the nature of casino operations, team members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke while working in or traveling through gaming areas. • Work environment may include exposure to moderate noise levels and varying temperatures depending on the work location.
