Organization: MPHS-Mills-Peninsula Medical Center Position Overview: Provides spiritual care to patients and families, including assessment and documentation in the Electronic Health Record; participates in interdisciplinary rounds with other members of the health care team; provides response to emergency spiritual care needs as an on-call chaplain; fulfills the accreditation clinical pastoral education (ACPE) certified Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) program requirements. Job Description: JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Provides spiritual care to patients and families, including assessment and documentation in the patient's medical record.
• Fulfills the ACPE CPE program requirements, including, but not limited to, those outlined in the CPE Handbook and the appropriate ACPE CPE Outcomes.
• Participates in interdisciplinary rounds and coordinates spiritual care with other members of the healthcare team.
• Provides response to emergency spiritual care needs as an on-call chaplain.
• Provides emotional and spiritual support to hospital employees.
• Complies with departmental policies, procedures, and record keeping.
EDUCATION:
• Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. • Bachelor's • Applicant must be accepted in the Sutter ACPE CPE program • Applicant must maintain concurrent enrollment with ACPE as a CPE Student #LI-TM1

Pay Range is $25.00 to $25.00 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
