About this role
[What the role is] Support the design and delivery of RP Talent Development Programme targeted for high performing students, with a focus on student engagement and advisory support. The role involves coordinating stakeholders, creating meaningful developmental opportunities, and guiding students to strengthen scholarship, university and post graduation pathways while building a strong programme community. [What you will be working on] Student Engagement, Advising & Progress Tracking
• Conduct regular 1-to-1 student check-ins; support students’ goal-setting and action planning. • Monitor student progress using established monitoring tools; flag early alerts and coordinate follow-up with schools/stakeholders. • Provide advisory support on scholarships, university pathways, internships, careers and further studies, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and partners.
Stakeholder & Partner Engagement
• Partner schools, parents/guardians (where appropriate) and alumni/industry to strengthen student support, mentoring and exposure.
Student Development Opportunities (Local & Overseas)
• Oversee local/overseas development opportunities (selection, briefings, logistics, risk management and evaluation); chaperone when required.
Student Community Building
• Plan and lead community-building activities; gather feedback and improve participation and student experience. • Guide supporting staff/facilitators/student leaders to ensure consistent engagement and smooth delivery. • Management and coordination of communication channels for student engagement (where required).
Programme Planning, Delivery & Administration
• Contribute to the planning, conceptualisation and execution of Talent Development Programme offerings aligned to student developmental needs • Support the development of programme content, student resources and communication materials to strengthen student engagement and development and programme delivery. • Support budget, procurement and vendor management in accordance with RP policies
[What we are looking for]
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience working with youth in the tertiary education sector • A passion for working with people, student centric, empathetic, and able to engage youths effectively • Proactive, resourceful, with good time management, stakeholder engagement and collaborative skills • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills for working with students, staff and external partners • Proficient in Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
