About this role
[What the role is] This role is responsible for the accounting for one Property-owning subsidiary, provide oversight of the accounting for SLF subsidiaries, while driving digital transformation to improve finance operations and productivity. [What you will be working on] As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the following.
Financial Reporting & Governance
• Manage the full spectrum of finance activities for the assigned subsidiaries, including monthly closing, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, cashflow management and timely collection of receivables. • Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with SFRS, GST, corporate tax, XBRL and statutory requirements. • Coordinate and manage external audits and regulatory reporting. • Prepare board papers and financial analyses to support management and Board decision-making.
Group Finance
• Review SLF Group consolidation and support the preparation of Group financial reports. • Assist in the preparation of Board and management reporting. • Support finance projects and corporate initiatives.
Digital Transformation
• Review and enhance finance processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Lead finance transformation initiatives through automation, digitalisation and continuous process improvement. • Drive the adoption of AI and emerging technologies, including Agentic AI, to improve finance operations and productivity.
[What we are looking for] Requirements
• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification with at least 5 years of relevant experience. • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is an advantage. • Self-driven, resourceful and committed to delivering high-quality work. • Strong analytical thinking and a continuous improvement mindset. • Curious about technology and keen to leverage digital tools and AI to enhance finance processes. • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
